our community: the muse project begets stet!

We told you last fall about how we were proudly partnering with actor Jocelyn Kuritsky, with additional support from The New Group, on The Muse Project, a new initiative that moves female actors to the center of the process by charging them to identify and generate the roles they want to play.

And now Jocelyn’s own “muse” moment culminates — already! — in a world premiere production at Abingdon Theatre Company — STET, which happens to be written by our amazing affiliated artist and Jammer Kim Davies.  Go see it!

In a new play inspired by true events, a young journalist is assigned to write about sexual assault on college campuses and must find a unique angle for the story that will sell. During her investigation, she encounters a student with a horrific story to tell. Determined to bring the events to light, this ambitious reporter refuses to let anything stop her — including the truth.
