PLAYLET BIOS!
Angela Hanks is a Brooklyn- based playwright from Dallas, Texas. Her selected plays include: Wilder Gone (Clubbed Thumb, NYT’s Critic’s Pick), Good Latimer, Devil Music (Ensemble Studio Theatre’s 35th Marathon of One Act Plays), breathe into this bag, Myrna in Transit, Big Tex, and Heloise Sails the Boat. Her plays have been produced and/ or developed at Clubbed Thumb, Ensemble Studio Theatre, New Georges, the Flea Theater, New York International Fringe Festival, Stockyards Theater Project in Chicago and the Big Funk Company in Paris, France. She is an alumna of Obie Award-winning Youngblood, a MacDowell Colony Fellow, an alumna of Clubbed Thumb’s Early-Career Writers’ Group, a Lincoln Center Director’s Lab member, and a New Georges Affiliated Artist. Her play, Wilder Gone, was a Clubbed Thumb commission through a grant from the New York State Council on the Arts. She is a winner of the 2017 Clubbed Thumb Biennial Commission. M.F.A., Playwriting: The New School for Drama.

Caitlin Saylor Stephens is a Brooklyn-based playwright and performer. Her New Georges developed plays include Company Happy Hour, From The Basement of My HeartJoley, and Black Escalade, and When We Went Electronic. In 2015, she received a New Georges Audrey Residency with Portia Krieger for her play Two Men Missing In The Hudson River. Caitlin is working on a new piece about woke misogyny called Woke Boy and is currently commissioned with Borscht Film Festival for her instagram films @discounttherapyclub. Meghan Finn is a director based in Brooklyn, NY, and co-artistic director of The Tank. Recent credits include: artist Pedro Reyes’ Manufacturing Mischief at the Tank and DOOMOCRACY for Creative Time at the Brooklyn Army Terminal; Sam’s Tea Shack by Ben Gassman and Sam Soghor (The Tank at STK), The Offending Gesture by Mac Wellman (The Tank/3LD at the Connelly Theater NYTIMES’ and TIMEOUTNY CRITICS’ PICK); American Power performed by photographer Mitch Epstein and Composer/Cellist Erik Friedlander at the V&A London and The Wexner Center, Columbus, Ohio; Gary Winter’s DAREDEVIL at The Brick; The Downtown Loop by Ben Gassman (3LD/3D+ Productions/Teeth of Tooth Atelier); Take Me Home by Alexandra Collier set in a taxi cab (Incubator Arts Project/LPR); The Service Road by Erin Courtney (Adhesive Theater Project/NYTIMES Critics’ Pick), Motel Cherry by Peggy Stafford (Summerworks Clubbed Thumb/New Georges HERE Arts Center Huffington Post Top 10 of 2012) and 3 2’s; or AFAR by Mac Wellman (Dixon Place).  Finn holds an MFA in Directing from Brooklyn College and a BA in Theater from the University of Southern California. She was a member of the 2009 Lincoln Center Director’s Lab, 2009/10 Soho Rep Writer/Director Lab, New Georges’ The Jam, a 2014 & 2016 New Georges Audrey Resident and co-founder of the longest lunch (2002-present).
